i've not much to report, i've had my head burried in books the last couple of weeks.

i've read 6 books in that time and i'm on my seventh... lots of downtime between working and seeing ross.

i'm becoming a hermit now that the weather is warming and usually it's the other way around.

just thought i'd post some

stir crazy

a week off. most people would love to have one... i on the other hand find myself getting restless after two days off.

i'm trying to save money so going out shopping (which i find more of a chore than a pleasure) is out of the question. there are only so many things to do around the house... if i mop or scrub one more surface in this apartment i'm sure i'll get tennis elbow...

i did manage to spend most of the day outside with stella yesterday at lemoine point.. afterwards i thought we'd try the new dog park nearby, but stella ended up in a fight with another dog over a stick so we left.

stella has the habit of not wanting to share toys... a natural instinct of dogs.. well another dog was pissed that stella stole his stick and ended up growling and nipping at stella so stella fought back. i appologized to the owner of the other dog even though her dog attacked first, and all she said was "ya, whatever"... so we left. if that were me and my dog attacked another dog, i would have appologized... hell i appologized even though it wasn't stella's fault.

so not sure if i'll be taking her back there any time soon. the only remedy i seem to find over and over on the internet about dog to dog aggression over toys is a shock collar. which i'm totally against. i realize the collars are more humane now a days but still, the idea of shocking stella because she won't share toys to me is cruel.

only other option may be obedience training... although stella is pretty obedient already...

anyhow, any suggestions on what i should do?
